- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and a dash of pepper. Mix gently and shape into patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add oil. Cook the hamburger steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
- Spray a medium baking dish with non-stick spray. Transfer the browned patties to the dish and mix the cream of mushroom soup with a little water and pour over the patties.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until edges start bubbling and top is lightly golden.
- If using cheddar cheese, sprinkle it over the bake during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot with favorite sides.
