Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Sauté 3-4 chopped garlic cloves for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add juice from half a lemon and season with salt and pepper.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil or butter. Arrange cod fillets skin-side down, pour sauce over the fillets.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cod flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven, let rest for a minute, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
