  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Key ingredient; coconut milk can be used for dairy-free.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Helps control saltiness; olive oil can be a substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed; don't forget the zest!
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped; dill or basil can be substituted.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Sauté 3-4 chopped garlic cloves for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add juice from half a lemon and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil or butter. Arrange cod fillets skin-side down, pour sauce over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cod flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven, let rest for a minute, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
