Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place eggs in a medium saucepan and cover them with cold water by at least an inch. Bring to a boil, then cover and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool eggs under cold running water or in an ice bath before peeling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, and spices until smooth. Chill in the refrigerator.
  4. Mix any remaining spices, toss shrimp in the mixture, and heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Remove shrimp to cool. Pipe yolk mixture into egg whites.
  6. Top each deviled egg with a shrimp, jalapeño slice, and chives. Serve with lemon wedges.
