  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella/Monterey Jack
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened or ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast
For the Biscuit Shell
  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuit dough store-bought
  • 2 tbsp Melted butter or olive oil
For Flavoring
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Onion powder or fresh diced onions (adjust cooking time)
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper omit if less spice is preferred

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  3. Season the cooled beef with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes over low heat.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and grated Parmesan until creamy.
  5. Fold the cooled ground beef into the cheese mixture until well combined.
  6. Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each to about 4 inches wide.
  7. Spoon the beef and cheese mixture into the center of each biscuit, folding edges to enclose and pinching seams tightly.
  8. Place filled biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, brush tops with melted butter.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving to allow filling to set.
