  • 1-2 tsp Vanilla syrup adjust to taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea
  1. In a small saucepan, add pitted and halved cherries along with 2 tablespoons of water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until cherries soften and release their juices.
  2. Bring 1 cup of filtered water to a boil. Add Earl Grey tea bag or loose leaf tea and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain out leaves.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of milk to the saucepan with softened cherries. Heat gently, stirring until warmed through. Optionally add a cinnamon stick.
  4. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla syrup. Allow flavors to meld for about a minute.
  5. Pour brewed Earl Grey tea into a mug. Strain cherry milk mixture into the mug, pressing on cherries to extract juice.
  6. For iced tea, allow mixture to cool to room temperature and pour over ice. Serve hot if preferred.
