Step-by-Step Instructions for Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea
- In a small saucepan, add pitted and halved cherries along with 2 tablespoons of water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until cherries soften and release their juices.
- Bring 1 cup of filtered water to a boil. Add Earl Grey tea bag or loose leaf tea and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain out leaves.
- Add 1/2 cup of milk to the saucepan with softened cherries. Heat gently, stirring until warmed through. Optionally add a cinnamon stick.
- Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla syrup. Allow flavors to meld for about a minute.
- Pour brewed Earl Grey tea into a mug. Strain cherry milk mixture into the mug, pressing on cherries to extract juice.
- For iced tea, allow mixture to cool to room temperature and pour over ice. Serve hot if preferred.
- Garnish with a fresh cherry or sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy your Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea.
