  2. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a medium mixing bowl, then mix in 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add 4 large eggs one at a time and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing well until fully combined.
