  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar Mixed with cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Can replace with nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt Kosher salt also works

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat until it boils, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot toffee mixture over the crackers, using a spatula to cover them.
  5. Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and lightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
  7. Mix granulated sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle sea salt over the chocolate and cinnamon mixture.
  9. Allow to cool completely for 1-2 hours before breaking into pieces.
