Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Wonton Soup
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with unseasoned rice vinegar, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil. Add grated garlic, grated fresh ginger, light brown sugar, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place approximately 1 teaspoon of the chicken filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold over to form a triangle. Seal firmly and repeat until all filling is used.
  3. In a large pot, pour in chicken broth, add minced garlic, dark soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil. Bring to a gentle boil and stir occasionally.
  4. Once boiling, toss in the baby bok choy and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  5. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add wontons and boil for 4-5 minutes until they float. Remove with a slotted spoon.
  6. Add the wontons to the warm broth and heat for 1 minute. Serve hot in bowls, garnished with additional chopped green onions.
