  4. Divide mixture into six equal patties, ensuring they are compact but not tightly packed.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  6. Fry patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and firm.
  7. Transfer cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  8. For baking, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake patties on a lined baking sheet for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway.
