Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add broccoli and sauté for 3-5 minutes until vibrant and tender.
  2. Stir in the orzo and mix well with the cooked broccoli. Pour in vegetable broth and add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover pot, and let simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until orzo is al dente and most liquid is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
