Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain.
Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with Cajun spices and sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
Step 3: Add Garlic
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 4: Create the Sauce
- Pour in heavy cream and add Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Combine
- Add drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Step 6: Serve
- Remove from heat, serve immediately, and garnish with extra Parmesan and herbs.
