  • 1 lb Chicken Breast Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Cajun Spices Adjust to taste
For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Pasta Any shape like penne or fettuccine
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated preferred
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing

Method
 

Step 1: Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain.
Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with Cajun spices and sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
Step 3: Add Garlic
  1. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 4: Create the Sauce
  1. Pour in heavy cream and add Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Combine
  1. Add drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Step 6: Serve
  1. Remove from heat, serve immediately, and garnish with extra Parmesan and herbs.
