Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by opening the can of solid white albacore tuna, and drain it thoroughly. Transfer the flaked tuna into a bowl and break it apart gently.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of mayonnaise and ½ cup of Greek yogurt until smooth. Add 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of relish. Season with salt and pepper, mixing until combined.
  3. Add the flaked tuna to the dressing, then add ½ cup of minced celery, ¼ cup of finely chopped red onion, and 2 tablespoons of fresh dill. Fold together gently.
  4. Cover the bowl or transfer the mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. For assembly, take 4 slices of whole grain bread or lettuce leaves. Place a scoop of the chilled tuna salad and layer fresh tomato slices on top. Finish with the remaining slices of bread.
