Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large plastic bag, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, and all seasonings. Seal and shake until well mixed.
  2. Add shrimp to the bag, seal again, and toss to coat. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, shaking every 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350-360°F. Use a thermometer for accuracy.
  4. Shake the shrimp again in the bag, then fry in small batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Transfer cooked shrimp to a plate lined with paper towels and season immediately.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine hot sauce, butter, cayenne, garlic, and Worcestershire. Stir until butter is melted.
  7. Toss the fried shrimp in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated. Serve hot with blue cheese or ranch dressing.
