  • 1 block extra-firm tofu Pressed for maximum crispiness
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Your favorite brand or homemade
For the Salad
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce Chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup croutons Store-bought or homemade
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing Use dairy-free for vegan option
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Optional, can substitute with nutritional yeast

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Press extra-firm tofu for at least 30 minutes. Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes and marinate in buffalo sauce for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of oil. Add marinated tofu cubes and cook for 7-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  3. In a salad bowl, chop romaine lettuce and add croutons. Once tofu is cooked, mix into the bowl.
  4. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat without making it soggy.
  5. Garnish with Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast and serve immediately.
