Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes and toss gently with soy sauce. Coat with cornstarch and breadcrumbs.
  3. Arrange tofu on the baking sheet, bake for 25 minutes, turning halfway through. Leave in the oven for an additional 5 minutes after baking.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together gochujang, honey (or agave), and garlic powder until smooth. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan, stirring until thickened.
  5. Transfer baked tofu to a bowl, mix in half the gochujang sauce. Reserve the rest for serving.
  6. Serve with rice and fresh vegetables, drizzled with reserved sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
