Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, combine all-purpose flour with sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well with a fork until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, crack and beat the eggs until fully combined. This will act as the binder for your coating.
- In a third bowl, add Panko breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning. Mix them together until evenly dispersed.
- Take each mozzarella stick and coat it with the seasoned flour, dip it in the egg mixture, then roll it in the Panko mixture until fully coated.
- Lay the coated sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F. Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature.
- Carefully lower the frozen mozzarella sticks into the hot oil in batches, frying for about 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove the mozzarella sticks from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with marinara.

Notes
For best results, use low-moisture mozzarella and ensure the oil is at the correct temperature when frying.
