Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes until hot. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Allow it to cook undisturbed for about 5-7 minutes until it’s nicely browned and crispy on the bottom.
- Once the beef is crispy, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the skillet, stirring quickly for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Next, drizzle in honey and soy sauce, mixing well. Allow the mixture to bubble gently for 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare another skillet over medium heat and add in your chilled or day-old rice. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice turns golden and crispy on the edges.
- Gently fold the crispy rice into the beef and glaze, stirring to evenly coat all the rice. Serve immediately in bowls with the glazing sauce drizzled on top.
