Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by pressing the extra-firm tofu to remove excess moisture for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch with salt and pepper, then toss the pressed tofu pieces in until thoroughly coated.
  3. Heat high-heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the coated tofu for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Whisk together honey and minced garlic in a separate bowl to create the sauce.
  5. Once the tofu is golden, toss it directly in the bowl with the honey garlic sauce to coat evenly.
  6. Garnish the dish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
