Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Organize your breading station with four shallow dishes: milk in the first, flour with seasoning in the second, ranch dressing in the third, and panko with dry ranch mix in the fourth.
  2. Dip each portobello mushroom cap in milk, shake off excess, coat in flour mixture, then ranch dressing, and finally with panko mixture.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place breaded mushrooms in the basket, spray lightly with nonstick spray, and air fry for about 7 minutes.
  4. Check for doneness by piercing with a fork. If tender but crunch is maintained, remove; if not, air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
