- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 6-8 minutes, then add the onion and garlic, cooking for another 3-5 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Pour in the marinara sauce and stir to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cheese-filled ravioli according to package instructions for about 3-5 minutes. Drain using a colander.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the beef mixture, followed by the ravioli and a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes and garnish with basil before serving.
