Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in the melted butter and vanilla extract until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Toss the blueberries with granulated sugar and cornstarch until well-coated.
  6. Spread the blueberry mixture over the pressed oat base and crumble the remaining oat mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Cool completely in the pan, then lift out and slice into 12 pieces.
