Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by finely slicing half a head of green cabbage, grating one medium-sized carrot, and dicing one small onion. Set everything aside in individual bowls.
  2. In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Allow the oil to heat for about 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
  3. Add the diced onion to the hot oil and sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the onions are translucent and fragrant.
  4. Stir in the sliced cabbage and grated carrots. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add 2 cups of day-old Jasmine rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Stir well for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, stirring well to coat the rice and vegetables fully.
  7. Once everything is heated through, serve your Cabbage Fried Rice warm.
