- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out cold puff pastry on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut puff pastry into 4-inch squares and place desired filling in the center of each.
- Fold corners towards center, roll into a cylinder, bend into U-shape, and place in greased muffin tin.
- Heat neutral oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the cruffins in batches, about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and toss in sugar and cinnamon mixture while hot.
