  • 2 tbsp Butter melted; or olive oil for lighter option
For the Tartar Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for healthier twist
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Relish or minced pickles; dill pickles can be used
  • 1 tsp Dried Dill or fresh dill if in season
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice or lime juice as alternative
For the Cheesy Layer
  • 4 slices American Cheese or Cheddar Cheese or dairy-free alternative for vegan sliders

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Place breaded fish filets on the baking sheets and bake according to package instructions for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet relish, lemon juice, and dried dill. Stir until well mixed and chill in the refrigerator.
  4. Melt butter and brush it lightly on the buns, then place them in the oven for 2-3 minutes until warm and slightly crispy.
  5. Slice the toasted buns in half, layer a slice of cheese on each bottom half, then top with a crispy fish filet and spread tartar sauce on top.
  6. Close the sliders with the top halves of the buns. Serve immediately for a delicious meal.
