Step-by-Step Instructions for Japchae
- Soak sweet potato noodles in hot water for about 30 minutes until translucent and tender. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add protein and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until cooked. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add oil if needed, then stir-fry sliced vegetables for 5-7 minutes until vibrant and tender.
- Add drained noodles and cooked protein back to the skillet. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir gently for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Serve warm.
