- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Combine yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add 2 eggs and vanilla extract, blending well. Gradually sift in powdered sugar, mixing until thick and velvety.
- Pour the creamy filling over the crust and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until edges are golden brown and center jiggles slightly.
