Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together sugar, softened butter, and zest of orange until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture alternating with freshly squeezed orange juice until just combined.
  6. Portion out the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.
  8. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together confectioners' sugar, mini orange zest, fresh orange juice, and melted butter until smooth for the glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and let set for 20 minutes before serving.
