Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 6 oz of strawberry jello mix with 1 cup of hot boiling water. Stir until dissolved, about 2-3 minutes. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well.
  2. Pour the jello mixture into the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes until it begins to set.
  3. Gently fold in a tub of Cool Whip into the thickened jello until smooth.
  4. Prepare a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray and pour in the jello-Cool Whip mixture. Arrange halved fresh strawberries along the edge of the pan.
  5. Dissolve another 3 oz of strawberry jello mix in 1 cup of hot water and let it cool before pouring it over the set jello-Cool Whip layer.
  6. Refrigerate until fully set, about 2-3 hours. Remove from the springform pan, slice, and serve chilled.
