Preparation Steps
- Place large eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a gentle boil, then remove from heat and cover for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice water bath for about 5–10 minutes to cool completely.
- Slice each egg in half lengthwise, removing the yolks and placing them in a mixing bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise, gin (or vodka), dry vermouth, olive brine, garlic powder, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in finely chopped green olives and fresh parsley. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites.
- Top each deviled egg with a slice of green olive and a sprinkle of paprika or chili flakes before serving.
