Steps to Make
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in the granulated and brown sugar.
- Beat in four large eggs one at a time, then add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
- Sift together 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips gently into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the lined pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow brownies to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil over low heat for the topping.
- Once cooled, pour the chocolate topping over the brownies, decorate with gel food coloring and sprinkles.
