  • 1 cup Arugula You can swap it for spinach if preferred.
For the Garnishes
  • ½ cup Cranberries Replace with dried fruits for variation.

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients including smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, baguette, bacon, goat cheese, wonton wrappers, puff pastry, cranberries, and pecans. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and place on a baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and bake for about 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, goat cheese, chopped arugula, and fold in crumbled bacon. Optionally add cranberries or pecans.
  4. Spoon filling onto crostini or into wonton cups. For puff pastry, cut into shapes, stuff, and fold over.
  5. Bake filled crostini and wonton cups in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh herbs or additional cranberries and pecans, and serve on a beautiful platter.
