  • 2 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts or chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil or neutral oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper omit for milder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper fresh ground preferred
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine for dairy-free
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or low-fat milk/coconut milk
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese or nutritional yeast for vegan
For the Ramen Bowl
  • 2 packages Ramen Noodles fresh preferred
  • 2 pieces Green Onions chopped
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots or favorite veggies
  • 4 pieces Soft-Boiled Egg omit for vegan
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • 2 sheets Nori Strips for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne, and black pepper. Add the chicken and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken, cooking for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until simmering.
  4. Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  6. Divide noodles into bowls. Ladle the creamy sauce over noodles and top with spicy chicken. Garnish with green onions, carrots, and soft-boiled eggs.
  7. Finish with sesame seeds and nori strips. Serve immediately while hot.
