Step-by-Step Instructions for Greek Yogurt Banana Muffins
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin pan.
  2. Mash the 2 ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas with 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of honey, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Add in the optional chocolate chips or nuts if desired and fold gently.
