Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 320°F (160°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, milk, and unsalted butter and beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the egg yolks one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the cream cheese mixture in three separate additions.
  6. Sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, and gently incorporate until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the lined muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
