Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, then fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  3. Portion out 8 rounds of dough, flatten slightly, place a Peep in each, and wrap the dough around it.
  4. Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the cookies for 14-16 minutes until edges are golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 20-30 minutes.
