Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your baking dish by greasing a loaf pan or lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and spinach to create the cheese filling.
  4. Lay out the meat mixture on parchment paper, flatten into a rectangle, evenly spread the cheese filling, and roll it up sealing the edges.
  5. Place seam-side down in your prepared baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. During the last 10 minutes of baking, spoon marinara sauce over the meatloaf.
  7. Once baked, remove and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
