- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic for about 5 minutes until soft.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, ketchup, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Fold in the cooled onion and garlic.
- Transfer the meat mixture into the loaf pan and shape into a smooth loaf.
- Whisk together glaze ingredients and spoon over the meatloaf.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, brush with additional glaze, and bake for another 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
