Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a standard muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
- Thoroughly squeeze the hash browns to remove excess moisture, then press them into the greased muffin tin, forming little nests.
- Bake the nests for about 20 minutes until golden brown, watching to prevent over-browning.
- Whisk the eggs in a bowl and mix in cheese, breakfast meats, and optional vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill each nest with the egg mixture without overflowing.
- Bake the filled muffin tin for an additional 13 to 15 minutes until the eggs are set and lightly golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes, then use a knife to gently lift each cup out of the tin.
