Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients alternating with milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and pour batter into prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then remove and transfer to a wire rack.
