  • 3-4 tbsp Honey maple syrup is a vegan substitute
  • 1 tsp Rice Vinegar apple cider vinegar works too
  • 1 tbsp Hoisin or Oyster Sauce optional for lighter sauce
  • ½ cup Water to adjust sauce consistency
For the Coating
  • 2 cups Flour seasoned with salt, gluten-free option available
  • Oil for frying
For the Aromatics
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic crushed
For the Noodles
  • 500 g Noodles any type you enjoy

Method
 

Step 1: Marinate the Beef
  1. Marinate the beef with soy sauce and egg for at least 10 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
  1. Sauté onion and garlic, then simmer with remaining sauce ingredients for 5-7 minutes.
Step 3: Fry the Beef
  1. Coat beef strips in seasoned flour and deep fry until golden brown.
Step 4: Combine Ingredients
  1. Add fried beef and noodles to the sauce, mixing well.
Step 5: Serve and Garnish
  1. Plate the dish, garnish with spring onions, and serve hot.
