Preparation Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather thawed puff pastry sheets.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4x3 inch rectangles. Prick with a fork.

- Heat whole milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming.
- Whisk egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch until light. Gradually pour in warm milk while whisking continuously.

- Assemble the cake by layering puff pastry and custard on a serving dish. Finish with puff pastry on top.
