  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream essential for low-carb delight
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese mix varieties if desired

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sliced smoked sausage and cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned.
  3. Lower the heat slightly and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the diced onions, sauté for about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add softened cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted. Gradually whisk in heavy whipping cream.
  6. Once thickened, stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine the steamed cauliflower, broccoli florets, and sautéed sausage. Pour the cheese sauce over and stir to coat.
  8. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
