For the Skillet
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 3 cups Broccoli Florets Fresh or frozen.
  • 1 medium Onion (Diced) Yellow or white onion is best.
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced) Use garlic powder if fresh isn't available.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper Freshly cracked preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Omit if using enough fresh garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded) Can swap with mozzarella.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can replace with cream cheese.
  • to taste Worcestershire Sauce (Optional)
  • to taste Red Pepper Flakes (Optional) For those who enjoy a little heat.

Method
 

Steps
  1. Heat the skillet by adding 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat, then add 1 pound of ground beef. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
  2. Once browned, push beef aside and add 1 diced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves. Cook for about 3 minutes until onion is translucent.
  3. Add 3 cups of broccoli florets and stir for about 1 minute to absorb flavors.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste, mixing well.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  6. Lower the heat and pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring gently for about 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture, cover, and let it melt for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. If desired, drizzle Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
  9. Remove from heat and serve immediately, enjoying it straight from the pan.
