  4. Cover the bowl and let it rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
  5. Heat about 4 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until ready.
  6. Scoop a generous tablespoon of the batter and carefully drop it into the hot oil, frying until golden brown.
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove fried Puff Puff and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve warm as a snack or appetizer, optionally with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or spicy pepper sauce.
