- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust until about 1/8-inch thick and cut circles for muffin tin.
- Press dough circles into the greased muffin tin to form cups.
- Spoon 1 to 1½ teaspoons of pizza sauce into each cup.
- Layer with mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Cut smaller dough circles for the lids and crimp the edges on top of the filled cups.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before removing.
