Step-by-Step Instructions for Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Carefully slice your cabbage into ½ inch thick rounds, lay them on the baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and optionally the egg. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into patties about the size of the cabbage rounds and place each patty on top of a cabbage slice.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until cabbage is tender and patties are browned. Check internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- If using cheese, sprinkle on patties and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving with fresh herbs, sweet potato fries, or coleslaw.

For best results, store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
