Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the bread flour, instant yeast, fine sea salt, garlic powder, and dried Italian seasoning.
  2. Slowly pour in warm water and olive oil into the dry mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Fold in roasted garlic and half of the freshly grated Parmesan into the dough.
  4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  5. Flour a clean work surface and shape the dough into a round ball.
  6. Transfer the shaped dough onto parchment paper and sprinkle with remaining grated Parmesan and flaky salt.
  7. Preheat the Dutch oven in the oven at 450°F (230°C) for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Lower the dough into the hot Dutch oven and bake covered for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the lid and continue to bake uncovered for an additional 15 to 18 minutes.
  10. Once baked, let the bread cool on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes.
