- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat from the skillet and set the cooked beef aside.
- In the same skillet, add the finely diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the onions become soft and translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ground ginger. Cook for 1 minute, continuously stirring until fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage and sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring often until slightly crunchy.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the beef and cabbage mixture, stirring well.
- Sprinkle sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds over the dish before serving.
