Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Increase heat to medium and add 2 cups of halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for 10-12 minutes until they break down.
  4. Season with red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and black pepper. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and let the sauce simmer.
  5. Drop gnocchi into boiling water and cook according to package instructions, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked gnocchi into the skillet with the sauce and pour in reserved pasta water. Toss together.
  7. Mix in fresh basil leaves and top with burrata cheese before serving.
