  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh cloves preferred.

Equipment

  • Skillet or Wok
  • Mixing bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of water. Once boiling, add the lo mein noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes, until they’re al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water, setting aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine a tablespoon of Beef Better Than Bouillon, a sprinkle of brown sugar, and soy sauce to taste. Whisk together until well blended and set aside.
  3. While the noodles cook, slice your vegetables and beef. Thinly slice the beef against the grain for tenderness, prepare your carrots and broccoli into uniform pieces.
  4. Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add the sliced beef and cook for about 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add more sesame oil if needed and toss in the chopped onions. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Add the sliced carrots to the skillet, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften, then mix in the broccoli and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet along with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in your prepared sauce and mix well, letting it simmer for about 2 minutes.
  8. Finally, add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until well-coated and heated through.
